Caine Prize Shortlistees Read in London (Plus: Complete BBC Podcasts)

A Life in Full and Other Stories: The Caine Prize for African Writing 2010Alert! The five 2010 Caine Prize shortlistees are set to appear in London for three events in early July, starting with an event at the Travel Bookshop on Saturday the 3rd, which will double as a celebration of the forthcoming 11th Caine Prize collection, A Life in Full and Other Stories.

The authors – Alex Smith, Ken Barris, Namwali Serpell, Olufemi Terry and Lily Mabura – will read from their nominated stories and discuss their work.

Then, on the 4th and 7th, the writers will appear at the South Bank Centre and the e School of Oriental and African Studies, respectively, for more Caine Prize word-spreading.
