Justin Bonello, Duane Heath and Others on 2011 Gourmand Shortlist
Four local cookbooks have been shortlisted for the 2011 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards across four different categories.
Justin Bonello’s Cooked out of the Frying Pan has been shortlisted in the TV category for its accompanying TV-series of the same name; in the broader “Africa” category you can find Duane and Warren Heath’s Springbok Kitchen; competing for top spot among the childrens cookbooks is Tracy Going’s Awesome Animals: Rhymes and Recipes; and Braai Masters of the Cape Winelands is another clear favourite for its wine and food pairing recommendations. We look forward to seeing these titles among the winners!
