Sean Davison to Discuss Before We Say Goodbye at The Book Lounge
Sean Davison, Professor of Biotechnology at the University of the Western Cape, was convicted in November last year for the assisted suicide of his terminally-ill mother. His arrest came after a retracted chapter of his memoir, Before We Say Goodbye, in which Davison recounts giving his mother a lethal dose of morphine, was leaked to the press.
Davis returned to Cape Town in May 2012 following 5 months under house arrest in New Zealand. He will be speaking about Before We Say Goodbye and the traumatic events that led to his arrest, at The Book Lounge on Thursday, 12 July.
See you there!
