Moira de Swardt Reviews My 100 Favourite Herbs by Margaret Roberts

My 100 Favourite HerbsVerdict: carrot

Where the wisdom of my grandmother’s legacy to her offspring ends and where the wisdom of Margaret Roberts begins will always be a mystery to me. In a sense the delightful folklore of herbs as related by Margaret Roberts is part of my family legacy. If that sounds weird it is because I can’t explain it well, not because it is not true. In bygone eras it is likely that Margaret Roberts would have been regarded as a witch. Today, however, she is the herb guru and because my grandmother was good with herbs there is some kind of connection in my head.
