Philip Gourevitch, New Yorker staff writer and author of We Wish to Inform You That Tomorrow We Will be Killed with Our Families, was recently interviewed on The Paul Holdengräber Show.
Gourevitch spoke about the villains that inhabit his account of post-genocide Rwanda, how he allows multiple voices to influence his writing and his fascination with the biblical tale of Jonah who is sent to Nineveh to warn the people of God’s displeasure at their behaviour:
