Podcast: Prue Leith Talks About Relish and Developments in Cookery
Prue Leith, author of Relish: My Life on a Plate, was interviewed on Sue Grant-Marshall’s Radio Today show, where she spoke about the changes that have taken place in cookery since she moved from South African to Britain in 1959.
“Frozen food was a treat,” Leith says. “And all the restaurants…Food was about the same everywhere.” Leith opened a cooking school and a restaurant that helped to provide more taste options to the British palate.
