The 2012 South African Literary Award (SALA) Winners

 
Alert! The winners of the 2012 South African Literary Awards (SALA) were announced at a ceremony on Saturday 10 November at the University of the Free State. The ceremony was the culmination of the four day inaugural Africa Century International African Writers Conference.

Congratulations to all the winners, especially Books LIVE members Yewande Omotoso and Johann Lodewyk Marais who won the English First-time Published Author Award and the Afrikaans Poetry Award respectively.
