Redi Tlhabi on Forbes’ List of 20 Youngest Power Women in Africa 2012
Alert! Redi Tlhabi, author of Endings and Beginnings: A Story of Healing, has been included on Forbes Magazine’s list of “20 Youngest Power Women In Africa 2012″. Thlabi is joined on the list by a variety of inspiring women from magazine editors, directors of tech companies and scientists, to a fourteen-year-old university enrollee.
Tlhabi, who is known to South Africans as the host of “The Redi Tlhabi Show” on Talk Radio 702 and 567 Cape Talk recently aired the first episode of her new talk show, South2North, on the Al Jazeera television network.
In her usual self-effacing way, Tlhabi met the news of her placement on the Forbes list with a tweet saying:

As Africa continues to rise, so do African women. With the upward economic, social and political trajectory of the continent, a new breed of African women continues to emerge. So much so, that the African Union christened the years 2010 to 2020 as the “African Women’s Decade”.
