Verdict: carrot

First, I must commend the poet for presenting a deeply exciting poetry, focusing mainly on religious ideas and spirituality, but also invoking family, birth, ancestry, and criticizing foreign impositions and western cultural infusions (especially global western hegemony – which sometimes seems contradictory) in Africa.
