2015 Kingsmead Book Fair

From GG Alcock to Songezo Zibi – the highly anticipated 2015 Kingsmead Book Fair promises to be an exciting event on the Jozi literary calendar.

The event will take place on Saturday, 23 May, at Kingsmead College in Melrose, Johannesburg, and will run from 9 AM to 8 PM.

The entrance fee is R30 and each session costs R50 per person. Tickets are available from Webtickets.

The cream of South Africa’s literary crop will participate in the one-day event, including Books LIVE community authors such as Nechama Brodie, Edyth Bulbring, Gareth Crocker, Mandla Langa and Mike Nicol, as well as international names Sarah Waters – who has just been shortlisted for the Bailey’s Prize – John Boyne and Belinda Bauer.

Other names to look forward to include Jonny Steinberg, Khaya Dlanga, Rebecca Davis, Darrel Bristow-Bovey, Christopher Hope, Ndumiso Ngcobo and Songezo Zibi.
